Small Business Saturday - DueEastDesignCo Custom Wood Signs

If you follow me, you know that the majority of my posts are a Freebie Friday where I feature a new free SVG and font every week (give or take a few that I've missed this year). I'm an Etsy artist myself and for months now there has been chatter in my online groups that COVID has hit them hard as well, so I figured every little shout out helps right?

I also would like to mention that I am not an affiliate for Etsy or an influencer in any way. I will not receive any commissions if you purchase something from any of the shops featured and I have not approached the shop owners requesting payment for my post. I'm just a fellow artist who loves to buy products from other shops. The only thing I ask is that if you purchase something from them, please make sure you leave a positive review to help them grow. It really makes a big difference.

Every other week I will select a new Etsy shop to feature and will include a link to their main page and 5 of their items in the post. The featured shops will include ones that I've personally purchased from and some that have just made my favorites list. If there's something special you'd like to see though, feel free to send me a message and I will do the poking around for you and feature it in a future week.

This Week's Featured Artist:

DueEastDesignCo

Average Price: Between $30 - $100 (depends on size)

Back in January of this year my husband and I took the giant leap of selling our home and moving more rural so that I could stay home with our kids and give them a slower and happier life. We didn't know it at the time, but it ended up being the best and most important decision we've ever made.

The home we purchased has a beautiful covered porch, it's part of why we fell in love with this house, and I had been looking for something to dress it up almost from day one. I ended up finding the perfect piece from DueEastDesignCo, but wanted a larger version of it. Cortney was incredible to work with and really made the picture in my head come to life. Her signs are a combination of custom cut wood with some beautiful hand painted finishes. I just can't say enough good things about this shop really so you'll have to check it out for yourself.

Her personalized nursery / room name signs are also adorable. We still haven't gotten around to painting the girls' room just yet due to COVID and no weekend visits to Grandma's but when we do, I will certainly be shopping with her again for a couple of these.

These personalized teacher blocks are a new add to the shop since I made my purchase, but these are adorable and this year more than ever we should all really have a renewed appreciation and spoil the daylights out of the teachers.

Last, but certainly not least she offers a DESIGN YOUR ORNAMENT option. These would make such a fantastic Christmas gift these year and would truly be one of a kind.
